Beach FC is pleased to announce the addition of Tina Lowry as the Director of Coaching for the Recreation and Advanced program starting in mid September. Tina's extensive coaching and playing experience will bring a renewed enthusiasm to the program.

Growing up and playing soccer in Eastern Pennsylvania, Tina spent her youth soccer career with West Chester United Soccer Club and the Eastern Pennsylvania Olympic Development Program. While attending the Jefferson Cup in Richmond VA as a teenager, Tina was recruited to play soccer at Old Dominion University on an athletic scholarship. Tina spent four years playing at Old Dominion and to keep fit in the off seasons, played on various women's semi-pro teams in PA, NJ and DE.

Upon graduating Cum Laude from ODU, Tina continued her love of the game in the youth coaching arena. Since 2009, Tina has been a travel girls coach for Beach FC. She currently coaches the U18G Red Team and has held various other coaching positions for Beach FC. Throughout the years, Tina has grown and developed her coaching skills while attending US Soccer coaching education courses, conventions and workshops and currently holds a USSF B License.  “We couldn’t be more thrilled to expand Tina’s role in the club and bring her on as a Director for our Rec and Advanced programs.  She brings a wealth of knowledge, but even more importantly a tremendous coaching personality…and above all, she is a consummate team player and will work well with the rest of our staff to ensure that Beach FC stays at the forefront of player, coach, and club development” said Beach FC Executive Director Steve Danbusky.

When asked about joining Beach FC as a full time DOC, Tina responded:  “I am very excited to build and add to the soccer legacy that Beach FC has created in Virginia Beach. Joining the Beach FC family is a dream and I am honored to be able to represent the club and share my knowledge and passion for the game on a daily basis."
