Beach FC "Training for Life" Initiatives
Dear Team Managers and Coaches:
I hope all is well. We are very pleased with the start of the spring season. Keep up the great work and keep having fun!
I wanted to send a note for you to distribute to your families. As we progress through the spring season, we ask that you check the website periodically for updates regarding tryouts, team training camp, The Piranhas, and other important information. We want you to be informed as we get closer to the end of the year. You are doing an awesome job! Thanks for your help in making Beach FC a top club!
We have recently partnered with 2 community projects that I am very excited about. Many of your players are looking for community service projects and Beach FC would like to help find ways that you can give back to the game. In addition to the 2 projects below, we always have a need for players to help with our recreation and advanced teams by attending games and training sessions. It is important for our young players to have role models and we want our older players to provide that leadership to our "up and comers." If you are interested in helping with the Recreation and Advanced teams, please contact Kevin Knott.
Our other 2 “Training for Life” initiatives include:
- Virginia Power Soccer (Wheelchair Soccer for Athletes with Special Needs) check out their website as it is unbelievable what these players can do! Read the latest news about Virginia Power Soccer.
- The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. See the Spring Classic Foodbank Challenge.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to get involved in either of the above projects.
Have a great day!
Andy
