This email applies to teams staying at Oceanfront Hotels and the upcoming Shamrock Marathon Weekend Road closures. (See Road Closures here)
The Convention Visitors Bureau in conjunction with the Virginia Beach Police Department has worked closely with Spring Classic Hotels to ensure a smooth exit from the oceanfront both Sat/Sun during the am hours. Your hotel should also have this information at check-in.
Follow these directions:
1. Park across the street from Atlantic Ave using city garages or street parking. This will avoid the Atlantic Ave closure/exit issues. Hotels should inform you of this when checking in.
2. Place this parking pass on your dash which will alert the Virginia Beach Police Department to give you passage out the oceanfront (if required). It should not be mistaken for a parking pass valid in garages.
Managers, please provide this to all parents or send them to this link to print a pass and important information.
3. Leave earlier than required to arrive at your playing complex. Allow for potential delays.
This event happens annually, and we have never experienced any team issues with exiting the oceanfront area.

Age Groups & Competition Levels:
The following age groups are invited:
U9-19 boys and girls teams (U18 play U19)
The Tournament will offer Under U9-10 competition in 7v7, and U11-12 will be 9 v 9.
The number of teams accepted, the number of flights, and the placement of teams amongst flights will be at the tournament committee's discretion.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Teams desiring to attend should complete and submit the online application. The Application MUST be submitted online. Teams needing early acceptance for flight and travel plans should request such to soccer@beachfc.com. All efforts will be made to reply ASAP.
Online Player Card/Roster Registration/Submission is mandatory and follows the directions/deadline in the link above.
The tournament makes every effort to accommodate teams’ coaching conflicts (deconflict games) - ensure you indicate this in your application (the team has the same coach as ...).

U11-12 $750

Guest Players:
Under 09/10, six guest players, Under 11-19, a maximum of 8 guest players per team is allowed, however, a team using guest players may have no more than 18 players (14 players for U9/10, 18 for U11/12, and 18 for U13-14).
Under 15-U19 Teams - A maximum of 8 guest players per team is allowed, however, a team using guest players may have no more than 22 players registered for the tournament. U15-U19 teams may only dress 18 players for each game.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Contact Housing Service Immediately - do not wait for acceptance.
Teams participating in the Tournament ARE REQUIRED to make all hotel accommodations using our tournament housing service.
The tournament housing service is a free service and enables the City of Virginia Beach to ascertain tax revenue and in turn, helps with future grants to build/improve soccer field/facilities development. We encourage your support of developing facilities for youth players. Some hotels will offer single-night stays - check the listing on the website for this information.
