BEACH FC's Advanced program is for players ages U9-U19 who are seeking more competition than in-house recreation programs but not quite ready for the skill or commitment for Travel Lite or Travel. Players in the Advanced Program have a beginner or intermediate skill level; requiring fine tuning of technical and tactical understanding of the game.
What can I expect to get out of the Advanced program?
Beach FC's Advanced program is the cornerstone of our program offerings. Not only does the program yield the most participants but it provides the intermediary level of play that applies to most players who are involved in youth soccer. The Beach FC Advanced program is intended to build on the passion for the sport cultivated in a true recreation setting and expand our players development with a higher level of competition. Furthermore, our Advanced program is team-centric, in that teams are founded based on connection and relationships as well as average soccer skill. Some teams stay together from u9 through U19. The experience provided in our Advanced program is one that Beach FC is most proud; a positive environment in which we aim to develop our coaches and our players simultaneously as they progress forward in the game.

Where do we play and where do we practice? Where are our Home fields? Where do we travel to?
Advanced teams travel to opponents they are matched against in their division; typically no greater than a 45 minute radius to Virginia Beach.
Away games are played regionally against other clubs that participate in TASL.
Home games are played at Hampton Roads Soccer Complex
When is our season? When are practices? When is registration? When are games played?
Games are played on SATURDAYS; with rain make-ups on SUNDAYS.
Our teams are sustained through Supplemental tryouts at various times.
Supplemental tryouts are based on the following criteria 1) roster spots available on current teams and 2) being evaluated as Advanced caliber.
The largest tryout we host is in the June time frame. Typically, new teams are formed in age groups at this tryout.
We also host a supplemental tryout during the summer and during the winter.
Practice fields are allocated by the City of Va Beach and Norfolk. We also have an Advanced training field at Wyndamere Park.
*Notes:
Advanced teams are not organized geographically.
Practice locations are determined by a Volunteer coach.
Typically practice 2x a week and both Fall and Spring seasons can be 8-10 weeks.
